Dextromethorphan-D3

[CAS Number 524713-56-2] Dextromethorphan-D3 is a stable-labeled internal standard used for the quantification of dextromethorphan. Dextromethorphan is a synthetic, dextrorotary opiate analgesic. Unlike other morphine derivatives, Dextromethorphan is devoid of any analgesic or addictive property. It is primarily used as a cough suppressant in over-the-counter cough medicine such as NyQuil and Robitussin. However, it is used recreationally due to its hallucinogenic properties when consumed in excess.
